Jonathan De Carlo, CAS

Board Member

Jonathan is CEO of C4 Consulting, a subsidiary of C4 Recovery Foundation. In addition to his leadership position Jonathon is a Certified Addiction Specialist, with experience in addiction/recovery and mental health care since 1995. He is also an international consultant and trainer consultant and trainer. He is a co-owner and the Director of Operations of Recovery 360°, a group providing psychosocial rehabilitation, individual, group, marriage, and family therapy, and organizational development and consultation services. Jonathan currently serves as a board member and past president of the Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals (CAAP) and is on the board of directors for the Stout Street Foundation.

Additionally, Jonathan is a certified Helping Men Recover Consultant & Trainer with Griffin Recovery Enterprises, specializing in Men’s Integrated Treatment and Trauma Informed Care, and co-author of a forthcoming Men’s group curriculum for treating trauma. He has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families during early recovery from addiction and mental health issues, and seeks to help people find therapeutic solutions utilizing a wide array of modalities and approaches. Jonathan has developed care programs for hospital systems, multinational behavioral health organizations, as well as full continuums of care from inpatient programs through outpatient and individual practices. Jonathan’s current passion is in assisting organizations develop sustainable growth and wellness through the principles of Values-Based Care, Trauma Informed Care, and Measurement-Based Care practices.

His specific training includes Attachment Theory, Gender Informed and Gender Responsive Trauma Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Harm Reduction Models, Motivational Interviewing and Motivational Enhancement models, Rational Emotive Therapy, and Somatic Experience Therapy.

Jonathan’s educational and training includes psychology, philosophy, and theology, allowing him to transpose diverse disciplines in his work with individuals and organizations. His vast experience in an array of care settings has provided knowledge, insight, and understanding that translates into client centered-care informed by practical, evidenced-based solutions.
